Mark Singleton has served as Vice President of Exploration for EnerQuest Oil & Gas since July 2011. Mr. Singleton’s 38 years of experience includes geophysics as well as geology and primarily engaged in exploration drilling. Mr. Singleton started his career out of college in 1980 going to work for Arco Oil & Gas as a geophysicist prospecting in a multitude of plays in Miss, Ala, California, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Texas and in the Gulf of Mexico offshore. Following 15 years at Arco, he worked 5 years in Texas for Brigham Oil & Gas and then as a Sr. Geophysicist with Chesapeake in Oklahoma City for 5 years before being promoted to Geological Manager of the Texas Gulf Coast in 2008.

Mr. Singleton received a B.S. degree in Geophysics from Texas A&M and is a member of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG).
